So...today I watched Equilibrium, one of the movies Tom recommended to me. I didn't really know anything about it beforehand, except that Christian Bale was in it, and that alone made me think the movie probably wasn't terrible.
So...today I watched Equilibrium, one of the movies Tom recommended to me. I didn't really know anything about it beforehand, except that Christian Bale was in it, and that alone made me think the movie probably wasn't terrible.
Well, I now see why my husband likes it so much; it's definitely a "guy movie": dark, lots of action, and a plot that was a little video-gamey. That being said...I really liked it too! The fight scenes were pretty sweet, there were some good lines (like the one I quoted up there), and the good guys won.
Oops, did I give away the ending? Well...the movie's been out for over 10 years now, so you've had plenty of time. But watch it anyway. It's a good one.
